Catholic Outreach promotes the inherent dignity and safety of all persons. We take a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and the abuse of adults at risk*. Catholic Outreach recognises that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and is committed to fostering a culture and environment of safety and care.
Catholic Outreach is fully committed to the Safeguarding Program and its Code of Behaviour:
Catholic Outreach commits to promote and embed the policy and practice of the Archdiocese of Perth Safeguarding Program and any legislative requirements pertaining to children and adults at risk. Our parish-based Pastoral Care Programs support the Mission of the Church through a direct response to the relief of sickness, distress and suffering. All programs work with respective Parish Safeguarding Officers in matters of and management of Safeguarding practice and concerns.
